Tim Ellis, our founder and president, has been a Residential Custom Home Designer for over 25 years. His portfolio includes a vast collection of residential projects, every style, from small homes to large estates. Tim is always looking for ways to enhance designs to improve the lives of our clients. He collaborates closely with his clients to translate their needs of daily living and desires, into the home of their dreams.

Growing up, he was fascinated by architecture and design, and this fascination only grew stronger as he pursued an education and experience in the field. He has been lucky enough to travel to over 30 countries and gain cultural insight on different Architectural styles around the world. Today, using that valuable insight, he continues designing custom homes that reflect each client's unique lifestyle, desires and needs while being functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Tim started his first design company in 1995. With growth and improvement through the decades, as well as technological advancements, we evolved into our current design firm, “Ellis 3D Home Designs.” We have been using Autodesk Revit for 15 years. This technological advancement puts your dreams into a three-dimensional model of your home. You will get quality 3D views, Renderings, sections, videos & walkthroughs as well as sun studies of your design. Not only is Revit a advanced tool for 3D visualization but is also uses BIM (Building Information) technology; which allows us to do basic takeoffs of the building materials so that you can stay on budget from the very beginning of your design.
